Education

I obtained a B.A. in Psychology and minor in Spanish from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Multiple research lab experiences, time spent studying abroad in Madrid, Spain, and additional courses outside of my degree in Anatomy, Physiology, and Biology have equipped me with a wide array of education tools and concepts.

Experience

I have helped former clients succeed through private tutoring and peer tutoring at Guilford Technical Community College. I have had extensive course work in Developmental, Cognitive, and Behavioral psychology as well as several courses in Spanish. For many years, I struggled with a lack of study skills and effective practices. Sharing my advice and own personal experiences has proven successful for others as well.

I am a globe setter. Volunteering is a large passion of mine. I enjoy inspiring and empowering others to be the best they can be regardless of the obstacles they may experience. Other hobbies include cooking, hiking, and visiting with friends and family. I strongly believe that tutoring is just one small "piece of the pie". The real success comes from the individual and their own self-motivation.
