Experience
I’m an alumnus of the College of Charleston’s Hispanic Studies program (B.A. Spanish, 2001), where I tutored Spanish for 2.5 years. I'm also the former publisher of a local Spanish-language newspaper, Vida Latina, and the former owner of the boutique Hispanic marketing consultancy Publicaciones el Nuevo Sur, LLC, where I translated into Spanish everything from marketing collateral to technical manuals. Spanish has played a significant role in my life, both here and abroad, since I began studying it in 8th grade at James Island Middle School. As such, I decided to share my aptitude for the language by tutoring part-time while I grow my new design-centric landscaping venture, Lowcountry Vistas Charleston, LLC. I offer local, private, one-on-one Spanish tutoring for students of all ages in all levels of grammar, reading, writing, and pronunciation. I'm happy to travel wherever in the Charleston area is most convenient for you. Learn more at CharlestonSpanishTutor.com.
