I am a huge history nerd. I have been passionate about US history since I was a child. After my MA in US History, I moved back to my hometown of Washington DC and started working for history museums in the DC area. It was an amazing career, I was privileged to handle, display and study objects ranging from a piece of the first Confederate flag captured by Union forces to personal letters from the 1700's. Last year, I decided to spread my love of history to others and moved to South Carolina and peruse a career in teaching. I currently am a certified South Carolina Teacher.
