Experience
I have been a 7th grade English/Language Arts teacher for 5 years in Jamestown, NC. Since graduating with B.S. in 2009, I have furthered my education and continued gaining experience in multiple areas and multiple ages. I have tutored middle school, elementary, and high school students privately and through the UNCG Reading Clinic. My tutoring experience has mainly dealt with diagnosing and correcting reading difficulties. I enjoy tutoring, because unlike classroom teaching, you can address a child's exact needs and interests. My expertise/experience in teaching and reading instruction allows me to access and utilize research proven strategies to obtain optimal growth in students of all ages.
