ExperienceI am a tutor with experience in a wide range of subject areas. I completed a bachelor's degree in hospitality administration with an emphasis on Spanish and statistics at Cornell University. I am currently working in the field of operations research and management. While attending both college and high school, I gained experience as a teaching assistant. I also worked as an ESL tutor. I am capable of tutoring students in a variety of different math related subjects, including algebra 1 and 2, pre-calculus, trigonometry, and linear algebra. I am also able to tutor students in writing, reading, literature, grammar and mechanics, American history, European history, World history, government, public speaking, social studies, English, religious studies, and Spanish. While I can tutor students in many different subjects, my preference is to teach math at the middle school level, writing composition, and Spanish. I had the fortune of having excellent teachers. My teachers were dedicated to ensuring my success, and I am looking forwarding to being able to help my students in a similar fashion. In my free time, I like to play the piano, paint, and cook. I currently reside in Charleston, South Carolina.
HobbiesIn my spare time, I enjoy activities that keep my hands and imagination engaged, such as playing piano, painting, and cooking.
